Happy Easter!
I can't believe Jax is 4 months old already!
It's been a busy spring, but Jax found time to share a green beer with Grandpa Tom, Funkle Dustin, Bill Self (head coach of the KU Jayhawks) and Frank Martin (head coach of the KSU Wildcats... at least until recently... anyway: Go Cats!)
He had his first non-blood relative baby sitter (Thanks Anna!) so Dad could take mom to see Hunger Games
He's been working on sitting in the bumbo and hanging around with Zeppelin in his bouncer.
He also played a darling roll as the Easter Bunny.
Jax had his 4 month appointment & vaccines today. He's still long and lean: 25" long and 13lbs 5oz. Healthy as can be - and happy to boot! He didn't even flinch when nurse Betsy gave him his shots (one in each leg) - only gave us his mind for about 10 seconds as she put on the bandaids. Tough little man!
We had his 4 month photo shoot today. My family has a tradition of doing the naked baby pictures at 4 months, so Jax got to go bare bum for a bit! Then we went on to his size shots... you know, with the crate and the month onesie, etc. After that I wasn't quite done, but Jax was - it was nap time! It did lend itself nicely to some pretty good sleeping shots, though. :) It was kind of a dark morning, so the lighting was not great... some had to be turned into B&W because he looked like an oompa loompa. The picture below is linked to the snapfish album. I whittled them down a bit - not that there aren't still a lot! He's just a photogenic kinda boy!
