Okay, I'm obviously horrible at updating this thing... but here's the latest.
Jax is amazing us every day! Last week he was still just kind of batting at things and only grasping things that he accidentally got a hold of (his shirt, blanket, ear, etc). This week he's reaching for and grasping things on purpose, playing with toys, etc! His owl blankets are his favorite right now. He gathers them by the fist full and rubs them on his face... so soft! He'll pull his pacifier out and turn it and chew on the side. He's noticed his feet, but hasn't caught them yet. Its just around the bend, though - he'll have a hold of them in no time. He's learning new tricks every day!
A week or so ago Jax really started talking. He was cooing a lot before that, but now he's talking. Exploring new sounds he can make, jabbering, etc. It's so fun to have a "conversation" with him. He gets a bit offended if you look away while he's talking. He's right! It's bad manners!
In the past week Jax has really got quite good at holding his head up. He still despises tummy time, but he holds his head up like a champ. I can tell he's tired when he lays his head down on my shoulder instead of holding it up and looking around. He's turning in our arms - wanting to look forward rather than over our shoulders.

This has every picture I took in it - I'm still deciding on how I want to organize and send out his pictures so you don't have to look at 100 of the same picture with his hands in a different place or something. If you put these in a flipbook it would look like a video of him! LOL!
